Compassionate, Expert Care for Children & Teens

When it comes to your child’s health, experience matters - and so does trust. Dr. Jenn is an Internationally Certified Pediatric Acupuncturist, offering gentle, effective, and age-appropriate treatment for infants, children, and teens.

With years of focused experience, Dr. Jenn has treated a wide range of conditions from infants, with torticollis to teens overwhelmed by stress and academic pressure. Her calm, confident presence puts both kids and parents at ease.

When your child first walks through our door, we start by getting to know them—what makes them smile, what sparks their curiosity, and how they like to be heard.

Once trust takes root, every session becomes a safe space for them to explore, learn, and shine, building confidence and independence along the way.

  • Yes! We use both needle and non-needle tools.

We ease children’s fear of needles by showing them first on ourselves, using our super gentle “taps” - tiny needles made just for kids.

  • We’ll always invite your child to try our gentle “taps,” but we’ll never push—our goal is to spark their confidence and curiosity.

And if they’re not ready, we have plenty of other non-needle, kid-friendly tools that work on the same acupuncture points without ever breaking the skin.

  • We have a large range of non-needle tools that we use depending on what we feel would be most supportive to your child’s condition.

Our tools range from traditional to modern including:

    • herbal medicine

    • moxibustion

    • Shonishin

    • Tui Na (medical massage)

    • cupping

    • gua sha

    • diet & lifestyle

    • light therapy

    • microcurrent therapy

    • magnets

    • breathing exercises

    • ear seeds

    • Acugraph

  • Yes! We may prescribe herbal medicine for your child if appropriate for their condition. We make custom herbal formulas in house and carry both glycerin and alcohol-based tincture formulations.

And no need to worry about them interacting with your child’s current medications - we have an in house Pharmacist on hand!

  • Initial Sessions - 1 hour

Return Session - 30-45 minutes (depending on the child)

Kids sessions are shorter than adult sessions because their energy is more easily accessed than adults. We also want to avoid overtreatment and honor their shorter attention spans.

  • We charge per session, not per minute, so your child’s 30 minute session has the same value as an adult’s 60-minute session.

Additionally, we understand that children aren’t just small adults - their bodies, minds, and needs are uniquely their own. That’s why pediatric acupuncture is a highly specialized practice that requires additional post-graduate training and a level of expertise beyond the standard acupuncture education.

  • Teens are in a unique stage of growth - no longer children, but not quite adults - often needing a bit more time and space to process. Scheduling a 60-minute session allows the flexibility to support them fully, giving room for deeper connection when it’s needed most

  • Schedule a free 30-minute phone consultation and we can answers any additional questions you have. It’s also a great opportunity to decide if we are a good fit for both you and your child.
